Unlike in-ground and well-insulated hot tubs, inflatable spas typically can only be used in warmer climates. You May Not Be Able to Use Your Spa Year-Round Intex 6-Person PureSpa Plus What Not to Like About the Pure Spa 1. Of course, you won’t have to hire a contractor to install it either. The 6-person Pure Spa costs less than $500 and ships for free. Inflatable = AffordableĪlthough Intex makes great inflatable hot tubs, they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for them. Intex give you a built-in hard water treatment system, which makes water gentler on skin, swimsuits and the entire spa system. Not all inflatable spas come with this feature. Spas Include Hard Water Treatment Systems Also, don’t plan on moving it when it’s full of water. Keep in mind that the spa gets heavy when filled with water, so make sure that if you place it on a deck, the structure can support the filled weight. Some people even use their spas indoors during the wintertime. On top of that, you can move it if you decide to change locations. Inflatable Spas are Portable and Versatileīecause the Intex Pure Spa is inflatable, you can set it up virtually anywhere in your backyard. These are very easy to do, and the package includes everything you need to get started. Of course, you will need to turn the heat on through the control panel, change the filter and add basic spa cleaning chemicals, but that’s about it. Just plug it in to a standard electrical wall outlet, blow it up with the included pump and fill it with water. Intex inflatable hot tubs are a piece of cake to use. Therefore, quality and reliability are high on the list. I don’t want to have to deal with calling the company with the complaint or packing up the item to return, etc. In my opinion, when I buy a recreational product, I want it to be worry-free. I’ve owned several Intex products over the years with no complaints, and my two favorite brands for inflatable spas are Intex and Coleman. Intex is known for making high-quality inflatable furniture, as well as durable outdoor inflatables including spas and pools. It also gives you a resort-like getaway in your own backyard. Truly disappointing.Do you want a convenient, affordable way to relax at the end of each day? The Intex Pure Spa Plus not only offers therapeutic effects with its 100+ bubble jets. At this point, I just want a refund and have had zero success even getting someone who can carry out a conversation. As a long-time Intex customer (currently we have canoes, river and pool intertubes and other water supplies), I am supremely disappointed in the product and support. They suggested I send the whole tub back on my dime with no assistance on why this has happened again. Called support again after countless hours on hold or just being hung up on due to capacity issues, I finally got through to someone. After 8 months, 40+ hours to remediate, I’ve still not been able to use this product. Again following instructions and the tub will not stay inflated. After winter thaw, I opened box and re-established area and re-installed. Called Support, they helped create claim, and received new tub in Feb. Using troubleshooting tips and found pin hole leak straight out of the box. "Bought Intex PureSpa, prepared paver patio, used 1” foam insulation with ground cloth on, inflated following instructions, filled with water and by next am it was deflating and water had started to leak. Posted by Elizabeth Holmes on May 18th 2021 Anyways, worked good for about 8 months, Now it won't heat and the rubber inside is now like a alligator. I wish they would of just sold me the spinner blade. Three days and hours with never an answer, I decided it wasn't worth my time and just bought a whole new motor. Of course its all over youtube that this happens. Took it apart and saw that the spinner bald had snapped.
